Game Purpose
Roulette is game of chance where Players has to guess on which number the ball will land in a spinning cylinder.
Players can bet on numbers, group of numbers and colors.
The roulette wheel has 37 to 38 pockets numbered from 1 to 36, plus one « 0 » pocket for European and French, and two « 0 » for American roulettes.

The European roulette uses the American table format and the single 0 cylinder of the French roulette.

Several players can wager on the same numbers.
STRAIGHT
Bet on 1 number
SPLITT
Bet on 2 numbers.
STREET
Bet on 3 numbers, placed at the end of a line.
CORNER
Bet on 4 numbers, placed at the middle of a square.
BASKET
Bet placed on the four first numbers, at the top of the table (0, 1, 2 and 3).
SIX LINE ( or DOUBLE STREET)
Bet on 6 numbers, placed at the end of two lines.
DOZEN
Bet on 12 numbers, placed at the bottom of a column or on the dozen dedicated places.
DOUBLE DOZEN
Bet on 24 numbers, placed at the bottom of two columns.
COLUMN
Bet on 12 numbers, placed on the P, M and D slots (1st dozen, 2nddozen, 3rd dozen).
DOUBLE COLUMN
Bet on 24 numbers, placed at the middle of two P-M-D slots.
EVEN BETS
LOW
Bet placed on the 1st half of the numbers, 1 to 18.
HIGH
Bet placed on the 2ndhalf of the numbers, 19 to 36.
ODD
Bet placed on all of the odd numbers.
EVEN
Bet placed on all of the even numbers.
RED
Bet placed on all of the red numbers.
BLACK
Bet placed on all of the black numbers.
Game Progress
At the beginning of the game the Players place their wagers on the table, once the majority of the bets are placed, the dealer announces « Place your Bets » and rolls the roulette ball into the cylinder in the opposite direction of the rotation.
At this time you can still place wagers since the centrifugal force affects the ball, once it starts to slow down the dealer announce « No More bets » and you can’t place any more bets.
Then the dealer announces the results, marks the winning number, takes the losing bets and pays the winners.
Particular case for Even bets: the 0 appears
- French Roulette: if you made an even bet, it goes to Prison, loses half of his value and is wagered at the next round, or you recover 50% of your bet. Different rules applied in casinos for this situation.
- European/English Roulette: you recover 50% of your bet.
- American Roulette: you lose 100% of your bet.
